Matt McQuaid’s best offensive game of his Michigan State career came on a night when his legs hurt much of the night. With 5:23 first half of Michigan State’s 73-51 win over DePaul, McQuaid twisted his ankle while driving to the hoop. He was able to stay in the game, but ran visibly favoring the ankle. Soon, he said, one of his quads started cramping. Then the other cramped, too. Then his calf did.
