Michigan State’s Joe Bachie was named the Big Ten’s Defensive Player of the Week on Monday. The sophomore middle linebacker posted 10 tackle, six of them solo, in the 22nd-ranked Spartans’ 14-10 win over Michigan on Saturday. Bachie also had a sack, an interception and forced a fumble as the MSU defense held the 16th-rated Wolverines to just 102 rushing yards.
