Michigan State sophomore Kaleb Johnson has been named the Big Ten Men’s Golfer of the Week, it was announced by the conference office on Wednesday (Sept. 20). Johnson tied for first place at the weather-shortened Inverness Intercollegiate this week with an 8-under-par 134. With the help of nine birdies, he shot a 6-under-par 65 in the opening round, tying for the second-lowest round in program and tournament history. Johnson shot a 2-under-par 69 in the second round to earn his first collegiate tournament win.
