It might be surprising for some Michigan State fans to find out that MSU’s 2016 offense was more productive in terms of total yards than the 2015 edition. The Spartans gained 395 yards per game during a 3-9 season in 2016 after producing 385.5 yards per contest during a 12-2 Big Ten Championship campaign the previous year.
