Veteran Vince Carter thinks so much of rookie teammate Deyonta Davis that he’s taken him under his wing. Er, make that put him in a wing in his house. The 19-year veteran built a new room in his mansion just for Davis, according to Memphis coach David Fizdale. He told ESN’s The Jump that Carter wanted to give the 20-year-old Davis a place where the former Michigan State player and Muskegon High School grad could visit and be comfortable.
