If there’s one thing that Tom Izzo knows to be true, it’s the importance of closing on a recruit early in the class to avoid what he’s facing this year. Michigan State is waiting to hear the decision of three top targets in 2017, and that’s something he’d rather get squared away early in the process. For reasons such as those, Izzo has hit the road to take care of some business in the 2018 and 2019 classes.
