Brian Gregory takes head job at South Florida
Brian Gregory will become the new men’s basketball coach at South Florida, according to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports. Gregory spent this season as a consultant to Michigan State coach Tom Izzo after serving as his assistant from 1999-2003. He was also a Spartans assistant from 1990-1996. Gregory was head coach at Dayton (2003-2011) and Georgia Tech (2011-2016) before being fired last May.
