Tom Izzo continues Michigan State legacy with another NCAA bid
It’s not often you hear the word “relief” on Selection Sunday at Michigan State. But then it’s hard to blame Tom Izzo for feeling that way right about now. The Spartans’ coach was fighting for his legacy as much as an NCAA tournament berth these past few weeks. His teams had earned that postseason distinction the last 19 years in a row. He didn’t want it to end.
