Big Ten Tournament scouting report: Michigan State Spartans vs. Penn State Nittany Lions
When Penn State beat Michigan State back on Jan. 7, it seemed The Nittany Lions might be a relatively formidable team in the Big Ten compared to previous years. They seemed especially poised for a nice year when they followed up their win over the Spartans by beating Minnesota to move to 3-2 in league play. However, Penn State won just three games the rest of the regular season and finished the year with five straight losses.
