The Michigan State Spartans showed just how coachable they can be with their response to Coach Tom Izzo’s charge that they lacked energy and effort in Saturdays nine-point road loss against Penn State. It came in the form of a convincing 65-47 victory over No. 24 Minnesota, which entered the Breslin Center Wednesday night with the most impressive three-game stretch in the Big Ten to date – back-to-back road wins over No. 15 Purdue and Northwestern and a 10-point victory against Ohio State.
