Difficult self-evaluation gives Spartans improved Kenny Goins
In a way, Kenny Goins had been lying to himself.The Michigan State sophomore forward kept hearing from the doctors that the knee he re-injured in MSU’s first-round tournament loss last year and had surgery on this offseason was good. He kept telling himself it would be fine and he had nothing to worry about, but he didn’t truly believe it. Not until recently, at least, when Goins had a spiritual moment realization of sorts.
