Michigan State gave an update on the status of Suzy Merchant
In a scary series of events, Michigan State’s head women’s basketball coach Suzy Merchant collapsed during the Spartans game against Illinois on Jan. 1. Today, Michigan State got good news regarding its women’s head coach. According to a release from Michigan State, Merchant was released from the hospital Tuesday and is resting at her home after an overnight stay at Sparrow Hospital, where she underwent precautionary tests.
