Senior Tim Ehrhardt capped off his storied Michigan State track & field career by finishing sixth in the grueling two-day decathlon on the second day of the NCAA Championships at Historic Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon. In another eventful day, sophomore Nick Guerrant was 10th in the decathlon to earn second-team All-American, while sophomore Dillon McClintock reached the final of the women’s 1,500m.

Michigan State Track & Field carried over the success from day one into the final day of competition at both the Meyo Invitational in Notre Dame, Indiana, and the Akron Invitational in Akron, Ohio. Tim Ehrhardt Earns First-Team All-American Honors
Redshirt junior Tim Ehrhardt was named First-Team All-American on Monday, March 13, by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). The Addison, Ill. native, recorded a career-best jump of 5.50-meters (18-½) to nab a fourth-place finish at the 2017 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships in College Station, Texas last week, March 10-11. Ehrhardt was previously seeded No. 11 in the men’s pole vault prior to the championships.
