But on a day like Saturday, when Michigan State hosted a junior day event, recruits from all over converge on East Lansing to check out the facilities, watch a basketball game and get some valuable face time with Spartans coaches.

Another home basketball game means another opportunity for Michigan State to bring in football recruits. The staff has been hard at work building relationships with local recruits both by visiting their schools and inviting them on campus. For the past two games held at the Breslin Center, recruits and their families have helped fill the section across from the bench.
