Michigan State women’s golf head coach Stacy Slobodnik-Stoll announced on Thursday (Nov. 15) that the program has signed Sydney Naro (Toronto, Ontario) and Nina Rissi (Barcelona, Spain) to National Letters of Intent. Naro will enroll at MSU for the 2019 spring semester, joining the team in January for the remainder of this year. Rissi will arrive at MSU in the fall for the 2019-20 season.

Stacy Slobodnik-Stoll to Be Inducted into the WGCA Hall of Fame
Michigan State women’s golf coach Stacy Slobodnik-Stoll will be inducted into the Women’s Golf Coaches Association Hall of Fame in December, the organization announced on Tuesday, Nov. 2. The WGCA Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place on December 10 in Las Vegas at Planet Hollywood Resort. It will be the second time in six months that Slobodnik-Stoll will be inducted into a hall of fame as she joined the Michigan Golf Hall of Fame in June.

Stacy Slobodnik-Stoll Inducted into Michigan Golf Hall of Fame
Michigan State women’s golf head coach Stacy Slobodnik-Stoll joined an elite class of golfers on Saturday, June 3, as she was inducted into the Michigan Golf Hall of Fame at Ferris State University’s Katke Golf Club. Slobodnik-Stoll joined PGA Master Professional Bob Ackerman of West Bloomfield, PGA Professional Brian Cairns of Walled Lake, PGA Tour veteran Tom Gillis of Lake Orion, former LPGA Tour player Suzy Green-Roebuck of Ann Arbor, the late Alex Ross, who won the U.S. Open 110 years ago, in the Hall’s class of 2017.

At this week’s NCAA Division I Women’s Championship at Rich Harvest Farms, there are five Spartan players coaching – Emily Glaser (Florida head coach), Stacy Snider (Ohio State assistant), John Koskinen (Miami assistant), Slobodnik-Stoll and Powers.
