Beadlescomb, a native of Algonac, Michigan, earned her first-ever Big Ten track honor after winning the 5000m at the Big Ten Indiana Invite #3 on April 16. In the highly competitive race, Beadlescomb broke his own school record and shattered the track record, winning with a time of 13:40.44. The previous track record was set by UCLA’s Meb Keflezighi in 1997 with a time of 13:44.17. Beadlescomb’s previous school record was 13:47.44 at the Raleigh Relays in 2019.
