Michigan State gymnastics coaching staff received national recognition on Tuesday afternoon when head coach Mike Rowe was named the Women’s Collegiate Gymnastics (WCGA) Coach of the Year. Associate head coach Nicole Jones and assistants Whitney Snowden and Alina Cartwright were voted the Assistant Coaches of the Year.

Mike Rowe Named Michigan State University Head Gymnastics Coach
Michigan State University Athletics Director Mark Hollis announced Monday the hiring of Mike Rowe as the new head gymnastics coach, effective July 1, 2017. Rowe, a Spartan graduate who has spent the last three seasons as assistant coach, was named interim head coach in February.
