Bingham was not picked in Thursday’s NBA draft draft. But shortly after the final selection, Bingham signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the Dallas Mavericks, according to Yahoo! Sports’ Chris Haynes.

Tom Izzo knows Michigan State basketball needs its big men in abundance against No. 1 Kansas. Marcus Bingham Jr. could still be one of them. Izzo said he is “99 percent sure” he will not use a redshirt on the 10th-ranked Spartans’ freshman forward this season, which would make him available for Tuesday’s season-opener against the Jayhawks in the Champions Classic at BankersLife Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

MSU hoops recruiting class lacks star power, but it’s pretty darn good

Future Spartans to play at the Breslin Center on Friday in state finals
