Two days after being arrested for driving with a suspended license, Michigan State running back LJ Scott accepted a plea deal on Friday, according to East Lansing City Attorney Thomas Yeadon. Three days after rushing for a career-high 194 yards at Minnesota, LJ Scott dwelled on what prevented him from reaching another milestone. “The [play with the] penalty would’ve put me at 200,” the Michigan State junior running back said. Scott broke off a 24-yard run in the fourth quarter at TCF Bank Stadium, and it would have been his sixth rush of 20 yards or more in the game. A holding penalty nullified the play.
