Mr. Football Award, an ambush everyone was in on except the senior quarterback.It had capped a span of several weeks where he had earned new scholarship offers from Michigan State and Indiana, de-committed from Central Florida, won a state championship, and then earned major awards recognition.

  • Michigan State signs dynamic playmaker La’Darius Jefferson, now needs to find him a position

    Less than two weeks ago, La’Darius Jefferson was unsure where he was going to college. The 2018 three-star prospect from Muskegon cleared that up by committing to Michigan State while on a Dec. 9 visit to East Lansing and finalized the recruiting process by signing a national letter of intent Wednesday morning during the NCAA’s new early signing period.

The staff has been hard at work building relationships with local recruits both by visiting their schools and inviting them on campus. For the past two games held at the Breslin Center, recruits and their families have helped fill the section across from the bench.
