Keshawn Martin and Bob Quinn had a relationship long before the Lions signed Martin to a one-year contract this spring. Quinn was the Patriots’ director of pro scouting in 2015, when the Patriots acquired Martin in an early-season trade with the Houston Texans. And when Martin joined the Lions this March, he said Quinn was point-blank about what it would take for him to make the team.
