Jarrett Horst joined Michigan State before spring ball and enrolled during the winter with an opportunity to get familiar with the offense and the new style after leaving Arkansas State. After being a preseason first-team All-Sun Belt and on the Outland Trophy watch list, Horst now heads to East Lansing.

Spartans pick up offensive lineman through transfer portal
Another player is coming out of the transfer portal and heading to Michigan State. Offensive lineman Jarrett Horst, formerly of Arkansas State, announced on Saturday he is transferring to MSU. The 6-foot-6, 305-pound Horst is the third player the Spartans have acquired through the transfer portal, joining former Temple quarterback Anthony Russo and former Auburn running back Harold Joiner. Horst will have two seasons to play at MSU.
