Drew Jordan, Kenneth Walker and Jacub Panasiuk talk spring football
Earlier this week, three Michigan State Spartan football players spoke to the media. Two of the student-athletes recently transferred into the program — running back Kenneth Walker III (Wake Forest) and defensive end Drew Jordan (Duke) — while defensive end Jacub Panasiuk decided to return to the MSU program for a fifth year of eligibility, which was granted to all fall athletes due to COVID-19. Jordan and Walker used the opportunity to introduce themselves to the media and talk about what they bring to the table on the field, while Panasiuk discussed what went into his decision to return to the program and his battle with COVID-19 last year.

Drew Jordan’s transfer to Michigan State was the result of old connections and a new outlook
Drew Jordan was in high school when he took a recruiting visit to Michigan State and plenty has changed in the five years since. The defensive end was an impact player while making 21 starts in 48 games at Duke and graduated. Michigan State, meanwhile, transitioned to a new era as coach Mark Dantonio retired after 13 years and Mel Tucker is coming off his debut season leading the program.

Former Duke DE Drew Jordan transferring to Michigan State
Michigan State has landed its first defensive player via the transfer portal. Former Duke defensive end Drew Jordan on Thursday announced he will join the Spartans for the 2021 season. The 6-foot-3, 270-pound Jordan appeared in all 11 games, starting two, for the 2-9 Blue Devils in 2020.
