  • Three more Michigan State players enter transfer portal

    Four MSU players appeared in the NCAA transfer portal Monday, signaling their intent to leave the program. Tight end Tommy Guajardo, offensive lineman Damon Kaylor, defensive lineman DeAri Todd and long snapper Bryce Eimer are the latest portal entries from MSU. A total of six Spartan players have entered the portal since spring practice ended, as offensive lineman Justin Stevens and kicker Jack Olsen submitted their names on Saturday and Sunday, respectively. The latest developments bring MSU to a total of 23 transfer portal departures since mid-November.

  • A look at how Michigan State’s early enrollees fit with roster

    Xavier Henderson was only a month into practice. That’s all it took for the Michigan State true freshman safety to impress coaches and teammates while adjusting to the college level. “I come up here and I can run with some of the guys,” Henderson said last March, “but just kind of knowing what I’m doing and trying to play with knowledge so I can play faster is probably the biggest part.”

  • 3-star OL Damon Kaylor sees Michigan State as ideal fit

    “I just really like the coaching staff,” Kaylor said. “(Offensive line) coach Mark Staten – kind of a blue-collar background, just really someone I could see myself playing for. I really liked him and Coach D and meeting some of the players, it just felt right. On top of all of that, the business program and the education I would be getting is another thing I really liked about them.”

  • 3-star OL Damon Kaylor commits to Michigan State

    Michigan State just grew its 2019 recruiting class to double digits. Damon Kaylor, a 2019 three-star offensive lineman from Huntington North High School in Indiana, announced his commitment to the Spartans via Twitter on Wednesday night.

  • MSU in mix for ‘blue-collar’ OL Damon Kaylor

    The month of May and the final weeks of the spring recruiting period have been fruitful for Huntington (Ind.) North offensive tackle Damon Kaylor. A 6-foot-6, 315-pound senior to be, Kaylor received three scholarship offers from Power 5 conference schools. Michigan State, his first Big Ten offer, started that run on May 10 and Boston College and Vanderbilt have followed since.
