Every morning, Brent Mossburg wakes up in a bedroom full of Michigan State memorabilia. The Airport High School senior linebacker has been a Spartans fan for longer than he can remember growing up in Carleton, Mich., a suburb south of Detroit. Three of his uncles went there. Countless cousins attended as well. And he would regularly attend games in East Lansing.

As young children many boys have dreams in suiting up in the uniforms of their favorite teams and favorite colleges. Dreams of running through the tunnel to thousands of screaming fans. Not many actually get that chance. For class of 2017 linebacker Brent Mossburg, his dream came true after committing to play for head coach Mark Dantonio and the Michigan State Spartans Monday night.
