It was late in the first half of a playoff game last fall and Euclid (Ohio) High School had a comfortable lead with the ball deep in its own territory. The plan was simple – run the ball and kill some clock before heading into the locker room. A busy two days in recruiting for Michigan State culminated with commitments from two of the top in-state prospects as Flint Carman-Ainsworth defensive end Michael Fletcher and West Bloomfield wide receiver Tre Mosley picked the Spartans on Friday. Fletcher and Mosley’s announcements came on the heels of Bolingbrook (Ill.) running back Anthony Williams Jr. committing earlier Friday, and Chicago Simeon wide receiver Alante Brown and Euclid (Ohio) running back Brandon Wright committing on Thursday.
