The fifth season of the Big3, a three-on-three basketball league created by rapper Ice Cube in 2017, is around the corner, and three former Michigan State players are looking to get involved. MSU’s Alan Anderson, Brandon Wood, and Ray Weathers are all listed in the 2022 Big3 draft pool released by the league.

Michigan State basketball will have three alumni on two teams in the 2020 iteration of The Basketball Tournament. Big X, featuring Nick Ward, and Team Heartfire, with Brandon Wood and Branden Dawson on the roster, are both in the 24-team field, which was revealed Tuesday. Team Detroit, which announced Michigan State products Kalin Lucas and Durrell Summers as part of its roster, was not selected for the bracket, which was pared down from over 100 applicants.
