  • Dimitri Douglas 8th to transfer; Bouyer-Randle finds a home

    Offensive lineman Dimitri Douglas confirmed he became the eighth MSU player this season to enter the portal. The 6-foot-4, 277-pound redshirt freshman from Saline did not play for the Spartans this season.  Brandon Bouyer-Randle, announced he has committed to play for Texas Tech next season. The junior, who is scheduled to graduate next week, is expected to be immediately eligible in 2020 for the Red Raiders as a graduate transfer.

    It was a simple statement that said a lot, and maybe more than what was on the surface. Brandon Bouyer-Randle was asked about the Spartan defense at Michigan State’s Football Media Day on Monday. “Expect big things,” Bouyer-Randle said.

  • MSU depth chart: Indiana

    Redshirt sophomore Brandon Bouyer-Randle is set to start at strong-side linebacker for Michigan State in its trip to Indiana this weekend. Rocky Lombardi is listed as the starting punter, which head coach Mark Dantonio said would be the case last week. Cole Chewins and redshirt sophomore Luke Campbell are co-starters again.
