Braden Burke is looking for a third team to finish out his college basketball career with. The 7-footer has submitted his name to the NCAA transfer portal, Spartan Tailgate has learned. Burke is listed in the portal as a graduate transfer, which makes him immediately eligible at his next destination.

Burke, a 6-foot-11 center who played his freshman season at low-major Robert Morris in Pittsburgh, is joining MSU’s program as a preferred walk-on.

Michigan State is adding Robert Morris transfer Braden Burke as a preferred walk-on. Burke, a Stevensville, Michigan, native announced on Wednesday that he’s joining the Spartans, via Twitter. Burke was granted his release from Robert Morris after spending his freshman season on a Division I scholarship with the program. A 6-foot-11 center from Lakeshore High School, Burke averaged 4.3 points and 2.7 rebounds in 15.2 minutes per game as a freshman at Robert Morris. He played 32 games, making seven starts.
