  • Massive Ohio offensive lineman Blaine Scott enjoys time in East Lansing

    Offensive line recruiting is viewed as the lifeblood for top programs and Blaine Scott of Sciotoville East High School in Portsmouth, Ohio is one of the players the Michigan State staff has focused on for 2018. The 6-foot-5, 300-pound prospect was one of the first 2018 recruits to receive an offer from the Spartans and has close to 30 scholarship offers, including Penn State, Pittsburgh, Arkansas, Florida, Ole Miss and a host of other Power-Five programs.

  • Trieu: MSU begins chase for top 2018 talent

    Michigan State just completed its 2017 recruiting class a week ago, but the Spartans are already off to a fast start in the 2018 class with three commitments. Those three commits — cornerback Xavier Henderson, tight end Trenton Gillison and wide receiver Joseph Scates — are all from Ohio and all four-star prospects. There are also a number of other targets the staff is working hard on.
