Following a sensational sophomore season, softball’s Ashley Miller was named second team All-Great Lakes region by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) on Thursday afternoon. This is the first All-Region selection of Miller’s career.

Ashley Miller Tosses Third Perfect Game in Program History
Sophomore Ashley Miller etched her name in the Michigan State softball record book on Sunday, throwing the third perfect game in program history and the first seven inning perfect game ever for the Spartans in a 6-0 win over Akron. Miller joins Megan Hair (six innings), and Becky Gray/Jessica Beech (combined) as the only Michigan State softball players to ever achieve perfection.

Miller Earns B1G Freshman of the Week Kudos
Michigan State pitcher Ashley Miller has been named the Big Ten Freshman of the Week. Miller was an impressive part of MSU’s 2021 debut. She opened her college career by going 2-0 with a 0.93 ERA, one shutout, 16 strikeouts and only four walks in 15.0 innings at the Big Ten’s opening weekend in Leesburg, Fla.
