After spending more than three hours enduring miserable conditions, players streamed to the locker rooms following Michigan State’s 17-7 win against Maryland on Saturday. Chris Frey, however, was not in a hurry. The Michigan State senior linebacker knelt on the Spartan logo at midfield, said a prayer and then kissed the turf.
