Mark Dantonio looked around Michigan State’s locker room as Saturday night bled into Sunday morning. The Spartans, after a 38-18 loss to Notre Dame, were dejected, disappointed and digesting a lot of self-inflicted wounds and their first taste of losing this season. A prime-time showcase of a young team turned into an Irish onslaught early in the first half, and MSU could not recover.
