Collin Lucas took the long road to a mostly thankless position. The former walk-on saw action in only two games in his first three years on campus, spending much of that time on the scout team. That all changes on Saturday, when he’s likely to walk out as Michigan State’s starting fullback for its season opener against Bowling Green (noon, ESPNU).
