The sports world has a little less laughter in it today as word trickled out that legendary college basketball coach Jud Heathcote passed away Monday at age 90. I was lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time for our lives to intersect, and I didn’t want to let this moment go without sharing a few of those memories, because they were important to me and also help explain the kind of man he was.
