Sargent, The Flint Journal’s 2015 Dream Team Player of the Year, will once again follow the footsteps of his father, Mike, who graduated from Powers before becoming a Spartan. Mike played tight end at MSU from 1984-87 and was a member of the Rose Bowl winning team in 1988. Sargent redshirted his freshman season at Saginaw Valley State in 2016.
