Pat Fitzgerald at his Monday press conference announced running back Cam Edwards suffered a season-ending injury in Saturday’s home loss to Nebraska. Edwards left the 31-13 loss in the first quarter after taking a screen pass for a 23-yard gain, when he was hit low on the sideline and immediately entered MSU’s sideline injury tent. Shortly after, Edwards was transported up the Spartan Stadium tunnel on the back of a cart, and reappeared on crutches during the second half.
