With Michigan State Special Teams and Assistant Head Coach LeVar Woods in town, it was clear the Spartans would place a renewed emphasis on improving every phase of special teams. They did exactly that with the commitment of Nebraska kick returner and running back Kenneth Williams. Williams, a Detroit native, comes to Michigan State after two seasons with the Cornhuskers, where he established himself as one of the Big Ten’s most dangerous return specialists.
