Fresh off a weekend sweep of then-No. 1 Boston University, Michigan State hockey took the top spot in the weekly USCHO poll on Monday. The Spartans, who were No. 3 last week, leapt over No. 2 Western Michigan to take the No. 1 ranking. The University of Michigan climbed one spot to No. 3, as Boston University slid to No. 4.
