The last time Michigan State faced Butler, the situation was markedly different than it will be on Wednesday. The Spartans and Bulldogs met in a 2010 Final Four game in Indianapolis, Butler’s home city. The game came down to the final minute when Draymond Green missed a potential go-ahead shot with nine seconds left as the Spartans went on to lose. A decade later, he still hasn’t gotten over the fact that Bulldogs’ star Gordon Hayward wasn’t whistled for a foul on the play.
