Three Spartans placed in the top 10 as the Michigan State women’s golf team took third place at the season-opening Glass City Invitational in Toledo, Ohio. The Spartans shot an 8-over-par 296 in Monday’s final round at the historic Inverness Club and finished the tournament 15-over-par 879 (288-295-296), nine shots back of first-place Florida.
