“Connected” has been the popular word used to describe the Spartans lately, and they’ve certainly been that. Resilient? Sure. Tough? Yup. Selfless? Yeah, that too. But let’s try one more theory on for size as No. 2 Michigan State (31-6) gets set to take on No. 1 Duke (32-5) on Sunday in the East Region finals of the NCAA Tournament. Maybe Michigan State is just good.
