June brought a flurry of recruiting news for Michigan State as Pat Fitzgerald and staff build out the first class that is wholly their own in East Lansing. Four straight weekends of official visitors yielded immediate results, with the class growing from seven to 15 commitments over the past month. Moving forward, with a soft cap of around 20 high school pledges, the bulk of the work is done for this cycle, allowing the Spartan coaches to be highly selective with their final few slots in the fall.
