When Canada lost to Czechia in the semifinals of the World Junior Championship, Michigan State head coach Adam Nightingale texted Spartan forward Porter Martone. Not only was Martone playing for Team Canada, but he was also captaining it. “Hey, you’re the perfect guy for this. Tomorrow matters big time.
