Despite a strong start, No. 13 Michigan State women’s basketball was stopped by No. 7 Michigan, 86-65, Sunday afternoon at the Crisler Center. The Spartans concluded a tough week of facing No. 2 UCLA and No. 7 Michigan. With the loss, MSU falls to 20-6 overall and 9-6 in Big Ten play. U-M improves to 22-4 overall and 13-2 in league play. Michigan won both games of the series for the first time since the 2022-23 season.
