No team in the country really does what Cornell does on the court and that meant MSU changing a lot of what they do to get their win. “It’d be like a version of football, playing a team with the wishbone. It’s something you don’t see very often. And all of a sudden all of our principles we had to change because of the back cutting.” coach Tom Izzo said. “So we’ll never face anybody that does that this year. We might face better teams, but we won’t face that.”
