Spartans forward Porter Martone has been named the captain for Team Canada at the World Juniors that start on Friday. Martone is one of a few Spartans participating in this year’s annual star-studded hockey event of future pros.Team Canada will play Team Czechia on Friday at 8:30 p.m. ET as their first game of the tournament. They’ll also play Finland, Latvia and Denmark as part of their group stage, with potentially more games after that should the advance to the next round.
