BOSTON – Michigan State hockey set the tone early en route to a 4-2 victory over consensus No. 1-ranked Boston University on Friday night at Agganis Arena on ESPN2. “I thought we played pretty consistent throughout the game,” said Michigan State head coach Adam Nightingale. “Obviously we have a ton of respect for BU and their program. We knew this was going to be a really good test for our group.”
