If you’re one of those sickos who loves looking at recruiting rankings updates throughout the year, you’re probably thrilled to see Michigan State basketball commit Carlos Medlock Jr.’s recent rise.The four-star point guard originally from Wayne (Mich.) Memorial High School has been one of the fastest-risers in the recruiting ranks over the past few months. The now-Link Academy product has gone from a three-star, ranked No. 179 in the 2026 class, to a high-four-star, ranked No. 67 overall in less than four months.
