With experience as a sports agent, corporate attorney and in the NFL, Mitchell Moorer has been appointed Executive Senior Associate Athletics Director for Student-Athlete Management and Administration, Michigan State University Vice President and Director of Athletics J Batt announced. Moorer will advise AD Batt and athletics leadership on legal matters pertaining to the department. He will be responsible for drafting, negotiating and managing contracts for MSU athletics, including but not limited to contracts related to name, image and likeness (NIL) licensing agreements, employee contracts, sponsorship agreements, commercial partnerships, and media rights. Equally important, he will oversee the strategy, assignment and distribution of institutional benefits provided to student-athletes under the terms of the House v. NCAA settlement.
